Rust Stop II
Interior-Exterior Poly Acrylic Gloss All-Purpose Enamel
Is available in ready mixed color and tint-bases. Rust-Stop II is a tough protective finish for metal steel as well as wood and concrete surfaces. This coating dries to a high gloss finish. It is water-soluble and has very low odor. Rust-Stop II offers excellent rust protection. As a D.T.M. (Direct to Metal) paint, it can be applied with no primer on metal. However for maximum rust inhibition Rust-Stop II can be used in conjunction with a rust inhibitive metal primer such as Gateway Paint #7900 Acrylic Urethane Primer. Some ideal uses may include: metalwork, machinery, equipment, wood and masonry surfaces, indoors and out. It is also used for metal porch and garden furniture, metal roofs, truck, car and tractor bodies, outdoor signs, sash, trim, handrails, machinery, tools and farm and garden equipment. As a true all purpose enamel it is recommended for use over primed or previously painted wood, wallboard or plaster, as well as concrete, brick, and cinder block.
